Supporting Oncology Childrens Foundation (OCF)

In Australia today more children die of oncology related conditions than any other diseases.

SK Office Furniture is proudly supporting the Oncology Children's Foundation. (OCF)

OCF is a not for profit children's charity dedicated to improving the recovery rate of sick and critically ill children suffering from cancer, leukaemia and other cancer related illnesses. 100% of the net funds raised are donated to the Oncology Research Unit (ORU) at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Oncology Children's Foundation has committed to fund a five year world first groundbreaking research programme - "The gene therapy project" at a cost of $2,500,000. This proposed treatment will provide a more aggressive approach to treatment which is required for children with soft-tissue cancers including brain tumours and cancer of the nervous system. At present this aggressive approach to treatment is required but because of the severity of side effects, this is currently not an option.

The strength of the programme is dependent on your support.

SK Office Furniture is offering to donate a proportion of profits on Glassboard sales over $500, Timber Veneer sales over $2000 and any Office Chair purchase over $500.
